14 Angels

I haven't blogged much, H1N1 got me down, then I followed it up with bronchitis and upper airway inflammation, so am on steroids and antibiotics....yuck! Anyway, the roids have me unable to sleep, so I thought I'd update a little bit.

Anah finally started her OT today. She did more than the OT thought she would, she had met her last year, but less than I had hoped. But for her first day, not too badly. She had fun in art class and playing in the classroom, still not with other children, but at least participating on her own with Mommy's help. Her ST sits in the class and tries to engage her with speech, but well...you know Anah :oP

14 angels from Reece's Rainbow have found their forever families since the Christmas Angel Tree grant fundraiser has started! That's almost one child a day! What a blessing! I've been driving my car with the RR big magnetic sticker on the drivers side and on the back (I had gotten one for each car, but our van is all fiberglass so it wouldn't stick...who knew?). I've had lots of people looking and reading. I pray it peaks much interest. It also helps that two cute kids with DS are in the car too ;o)

Ok, well that's a brief update, but I really should try and get some sleep. It's after 2am and I have lots to do tomorrow. We'll be heading to PA for part of Thanksgiving, so need to get things in order.
