I'm not necessarily speaking about silence, although I do like a fair amount of silence, possibly more than others, I am speaking of the quiet that is "uneventful".
Our life as a family is usually quite busy, school, therapies, doctors, homeschooling, church and general family life, so when we can have a day of quietness in that respect, I grab it gladly. Yes, we did have church today, but since I'm not feeling up to par, Bob and I left with the two little ones after church, before Sunday school. Joey stayed for SS then went to a friends house for the afternoon. PJ and M relaxed a bit and celebrated their one year anniversary (of knowing each other). I came home and after lunch I took a nap...ah, how I love a nap! Jonathan had a nap also and Anah colored while Bob did some yard work. When I got up Bob cooked chicken on the grill and PJ and M made stuffing and corn. The kids played a bit then went to bed.
Yes indeed, I'm thankful for silent, blissful uneventful quiet.
