Ever notice how you feel so much better after fellowshipping with a group of believers? I do. We have a Friday night bible study at a friend's house. Our pastor leads it. We have a time of fellowship, study, snacks and a bit more fellowship. A great deal of the fellowship is during the study. It's a relatively small group, 10 or so people (and a ton of kids, lol) and we just openly discuss life and how the study we are in still applies to today. I don't understand how some people think the bible is outdated and was fine for "long ago" but doesn't fit today!! HELLO!!! There's nothing new under the sun (or Son) ;o)
I really needed to get together with like minded people. Especially after this past week. Today also started out yucky. I had court with my ex, he hasn't paid child support in over a year. It's amazing how drawn out these things are. We've been there at least 8 times and still nothing is resolved! Supposedly next time will be the last, but I've heard that the last three times! I'll believe it when I see it. I hate going to court! I don't like confrontation anyway, and public confrontation is even worse! Especially in a large court room with 30 or so people in it and everyone hears your business. Not that I have anything to hide, I don't, I'm basically an open book, but I'm still private about some things and don't like my families dirty laundry aired out for all to see. It's sad enough that the boys' father doesn't have anything to do with them (his choice), but to not even want to provide the bare minimum ordered by law....well, it's just really sad and hurtful. It boggles my mind how little he cares. I LOVE my children with all my heart and soul and only want the best in life for them, I can't imagine not having them in my life, let alone choosing that path!
Well, I digress...I really needed the fellowship and enjoyed it immensely. Tomorrow morning we are having a ladies breakfast, the men are having theirs as well, then we are having a joint discipleship meeting following. We'll be deciding the course for our children's studies on Wednesday evenings. I better get off to bed, it's almost 2am and I have to get up my 6:30, ugh!

Yes, fellowship with Christian adults is a big blessing to me, too.
