Guess who got her Visa???

That's right my little girl! Now we just have to try and get our travel date moved up! Well, actually Chau will do it after he picks up Anah's passport with the Visa stamp this afternoon.

As usual my memory failed me! ARG. I thought Chau had said he was picking us up at 2:30 for a 3 oclock appt. I had just finished getting Anah cleaned up after lunch when the phone rang, the front desk telling me that Chau was down stairs waiting on me!! YIKES, I wasn't even dressed yet, at least not in the clothes I wanted to wear to the interview. Not that they CARE what you wear, they have you sign a paper in three spots, have you swear that what you've told them on the application is true to the best of your ability, have you pay the $400 and tell you when to pick up your child's visa, that's it. But I couldn't wear what I had on, so I did a quick paniced dive into the wardrobe for what I did want to wear, while I had Anah on the potty. We rushed downstairs, it was 1:45, our appt. was for 2pm! AHH, I started to get very anxious, what if they wouldn't take us because we were late, what if we had to reschedule and it wasn't for a few days? Then I took a deep breath and started praying! ( I KNOW I should do that first). In any case, I was calmer when we got there but we still were hurrying, it was 2:10.

Of course you have to go through the manditory metal detector and put all your stuff on the belt etc. then we had to go up a "grand staircase". My little darling daughter's legs don't do stairs very quickly and if I could have I would have picked her up and carried her! But then neither of us would have made it to the top, lol. We got in and did the above said procedure. We were out by 2:30 with them telling us we could pick the visa up by 4pm today. I sat down to put my passport in my purse and promptly started sobbing! Poor Chau, he didn't know what to do. I told him don't worry, that's just how I get when I'm happy or sad, and didn't he feel bad for my hubby, lol, he just smiled and started walking down the stairs, not having a clue what to do or say. Poor man. lol

So, hopefully later tonight I'll have a MUCH sooner departure date. I'll keep you posted! Praise God today is over and went well!
