My friend Shelley made this awesome video regarding the older children that get so easily overlooked in the orphanages. I would really encourage you to watch it and pray for these darling children.
This video hit me especially hard this year, since I am blessed enough to be bringing my older child home this year for her first Christmas. Anah is 11 and is leaving her orphanage to be with her forever family. We found out about Anah while we were in the process of adopting Jonathan. We had been hoping to adopt again "someday", but we were "planning" (haha) on another boy and under the age of 5. When we found out about Anah all that changed. The Lord opened our eyes to adopting an older child. Now I can't imagine anything different, she is perfect for our family and I can't wait for everyone else to meet her!
