He's never let me down yet! I had thought I knew where the rest of the money was going to come from, but I was wrong, lol. The money that I SHOULD have gotten, and am still owed, I have not, and may not receive, at least not any time soon. The money we didn't know about and then when we did, they said it had been too long in collecting it, we ARE getting!
I know, it doesn't really make sense, but God has provided, just enough, just in time. I knew He would, He always has, but I just didn't know how He was going to pull it off, LOL! It's not quite as much as I need, but the remainder shouldn't be too difficult to scrape up! The money I need to live in VN while I pick up Anah, that's the needed money I'm talking about. I just imagined everyone knew what I'm talking about, but if you've been reading my blog for any length of time, you'd know that's what I was referring to.
Now all I need is the "all clear" and I'll be off to get my girl! Please pray the approval comes quickly so I can go right after Thanksgiving and before Christmas!
Today we did our monthly grocery shopping, boy that just about kills me, all the walking in different stores, but I'm on a very tight budget, so only get certain things in certain stores, so it requires a bit more work, but it's so worth it! I even got the stuff for Thanksgiving, with "extras" and still did very well! I usually "cheat" on dinner on grocery shopping days, I buy a rotisserie chicken, bake a couple potatoes and have a veg., easy. By the time I'm done shopping, unloading and putting stuff away, I'm toasted! Bob helps me of course, but it kills my joints, that's one of the main reasons I like an "easy" dinner on those days. I'm usually quite ugly by the end of the day.
We didn't make it to church tonight :o( . We had several errands that HAD to get done today and we had to wait til after Jonathan's therapies were done at 2:30, so we got a later start than we wanted. One of our errands was going up to see Joe in the hospital.
Joe is my daughter's husband, but they are separated and plan on divorcing. :o( He was in a terrible car accident early Saturday morning. He broke his neck in two places and his back in one. He has many cuts and bruises and some brain swelling as well. He'll be in the hospital and rehab for many months. Praise God he isn't paralysed and that he even made it out of the car accident alive! Please pray for Joe and all his family. It is a sad situation, but I pray THIS time God got his attention!
My aunt is recovering from her heart attack that followed an "easy" gall bladder surgery. It was touch and go for a while, but she's bounced back wonderfully! Mom and Dad were up in Canada for the surgery, so were there when she had the heart attack. They were so glad they had gone up. They are home now and she should be home within a day or so. Prayer for her and her family would also be appreciated.
I guess that's all for now, tomorrow is therapy and Friday is our co-ops Operation Christmas Child, which we still have to go get things for tomorrow! Blessings one and all.
