I got the email tonight!! The I600 Preliminary Approval came, now I can go to Vietnam to get Anah!!! To say I'm excited is an understatement. I feel like crying I'm so relieved! I can't tell you what a weight has been lifted. And did you notice the timing??!! A day after we found out we had most of the money!!! God is so faithful! I plan on packing tomorrow, lol, so I'll be ready in a day or two, ROFL, but I'm pretty sure my adoption worker still wants to wait til after Thanksgiving ;o) . My heart is ready to explode I'm so thrilled.
I just bought Anah a new pants outfit tonight while I was out. I now have so much clothes for her that half of it will be for Christmas or else she will be too overwhelmed! I have most of her presents already, two more dolls, some dolly clothes, learning games, a make a blanket kit that she and I can do together, books and I don't even remember what else, I have to dig it all out yet! Same with Jonathan, I have most of his things, just need to get a couple outfits or something. Joey is not done at ALL! Neither are the three older ones. Michelle usually gets a gift card. Amanda usually gets a gift card or some cash, but I still need to get her things to open. PJ, don't have a thing! We don't have the money for anything either, but I have faith that God will provide and if not, then the older children will have to realize that it is more important for us to get Anah home than for them to get their gifts "on time".
I'll be cracking the whip tomorrow with Bob ;o) . He's got to finish Anah's room and we both have to do her furniture and get the room ready for her to move into! We both tend to work better under pressure. I guess we are procrastinators to a certain extent.
Oh my, I'm so excited, I can't stand it. And it's too late to call my parents or girlfriend, they'd have heart attacks thinking something was wrong! They all are early to bedder's, about 10 or 11 at the latest. I just found the email about 10:45 or so, I guess I'll have to wait til morning! So you all are first to hear, after my dh of course :0D .
I'll let you know when I hear from my adoption worker!

Praise the Lord! I'm so happy for you and Anah!
I'm so happy for you!
What wonderful news! As often happens in the world of adoption, I find myself once again hearing the words of one of my favorite songs..."He's an ON TIME God!"
SO happy for you and your family and especially for your precious daughter who's been waiting so long for a family of her own!
PRAISE THE LORD! How wonderful!
