Yippy skippy! I went to the mail box today and there was Jonathan's Medicaid card! My appointment with them was on Tuesday and they had told me they didn't even have the paperwork in their hands yet, that IF it was sent in that it must still be with "intake". You can only imagine my shock at finding the card, the acceptance letter and notice of decision, all in separate envelopes telling me they FINALLY accepted Jonathan into the program! It has been a very long, frustrating process to get to this point, but I am so very thankful that we got it in time for his surgery on the 22!! Now everything will be covered in full! Our primary insurance is still Tri-Care, but Medicaid will cover what is left, which is a huge blessing and relief!

Now I just have to wait until Anah is home to start it all over again for her! Believe me, I really am thankful, I just can't stand all the red tape and hassle that has to go along with something that you and they both know they are going to give you in the long run, why not just cut to the chase and give it without a hassle. Ah well, such is life, or government.
