31 for 21

October is Down Syndrome Awareness month. In honor of that, many of us moms that have/are adopting children with DS are going to blog every day in October (hence 31) for 21 (trisomy 21, Down Syndrome).

Reese's Rainbow, the DS adoption site that lists many children with DS that are available for adoption, has a blog that will feature a different child throughout the month. It will also be featuring families that have children with DS/special needs. I have the button on the right side of my blog, just click on it and it will take you there. I would love it if you visited it daily and prayed for the child that is listed there and for God to send them their family.

As most of you know, this is sooooo very near and dear to my heart. I wouldn't hesitate to adopt every single one of the children listed if I had the means. Children with DS are such a blessing from God. If people would only get to know them, they too would feel the special love that children with DS give. It is an unconditional love, a love like that of our Heavenly Father. Such a pure and simple love, no conditions, just love. Oh how we could all learn from these special little ones!

I don't know what I'll blog about every day, may not be much, but I will give it my all.
