When my son opened his mail last night, we found out he got accepted into Penn. Tech. College! To say he was ecstatic is not exaggerating! He feels as if a load has been lifted off of him. He still has to officially interview for the PA program in Feb., but getting accepted into the pre-PA program almost insures it. If he's happy, Mom's happy.

My daughter on the other hand is a different story. She has an ear infection and is quite miserable. She wanted Mommy to come over and baby her, but Mommy doesn't have a car available. PJ is off at school and Dad and Joey are off to hockey. Jonathan had both his therapies this am, so is tired out and is just trying to fall asleep for his afternoon nap. I told her to take Motrin, put warm olive oil in her ear and lay down for a little bit. I'm sure she'll be fine, she just is a very needy young lady, always has been. Life is difficult for her right now, so if you could lift her up in prayer, that would be most appreciated.

My darling hubby was fixing PJ's flat tire yesterday, never a dull moment, when he was pounding the rim back into shape (all according to him), the socket flew off and hit him in the mouth. He came in with a cut lip bleeding every where. I took care of it and put ice on for a while. He went out to finish the job and would intermittently apply ice. By last night he had a BIG FAT lip! Thankfully his lip protected his two front top teeth. He has a huge bruise on the inside of his lip, it's so purple it looks like he's been sucking on a grape Popsicle.

Today is Joey's first day of hockey for this season. Of course he is very excited, he loves it, and he certainly needs the exercise. Of course we had to hunt for his hockey gear, "some how" it got put up in the attic....hmmmm...., anyway, we found it.

As soon as Jonathan dozes off, Momma is gonna take a little nap too. Praying you all have a blessed day.
