Jonathan is doing well today. He is VERY clingy, mommy couldn't put him down all morning, but he doesn't appear to be in pain. I still gave him his pain medicine along with his antibiotic. I will through today and then maybe start regular Tylenol after that. But since he's such a tough little guy, I don't want him suffering just because he has a high pain tolerance and doesn't complain.

He's eating and drinking without difficulty, Praise God, but I am just keeping him on really soft foods like baby food, mashed potatoes etc. No coarse veggies or meat for another day or so. I know it was only his adenoids, but the doc did say his throat could still be sore and I don't want to irritate him back there.

I think I'll go have a nap while Jonathan is sleeping. Mommy is VERY behind on her sleep, which causes me to have palpitations, which are very uncomfortable.

Please keep Jonathan in prayer for his recovery. It is going well like I said, but I would really like it to continue that way. I'm taking it VERY easy with him through tomorrow, no going out or co-op etc. We have a parents open house/orientation at PJ's "possible" new college on Sunday in PA, so we were hoping to go down Sat. and stay overnight in our cottage so we are closer and don't have to drive round trip in one day with a baby, 11 yo and a tired mommy. That's one of the main reasons I am being especially careful with Jonathan even though it's a relatively mild surgery. It still takes a toll on their little bodies though.
