Jonathan's surgery went very well! Praise God! Thank you all for your prayers, it helped immensely. I had no anxiety while he was in. He was only in for 1/2 an hour! He got his adenoids out and tubes put in both ears after they cleaned them out. We weren't sure how successful that would be since his ear canals are SO tiny, but the doc. was able to get the instruments in and get them cleaned and tubes placed. The doctor said it was very uneventful, thank you Jesus!

He woke up crying, the anesthesia does that, I had anticipated it since that's how he came out of the last surgery as well. Mommy laid in bed with him and held him. We stayed like that for a couple hours, he had some morphine IV, drank some of his bottle, wet a diaper, woke up a bit and we were released to go. We were home three hours after his surgery and that's with a 45 min. drive home!

He's eaten some applesauce and had a bit more of his bottle. What he's really done is sleep most of the time. His body needs to get rid of the anesthesia, as well as he didn't sleep much last night, he was starting to get a cold. The docs. knew it, but since he didn't have a fever and this was the third time the surgery was scheduled, we went ahead with it. Plus he rarely doesn't have snot, so we could wait forever if we were waiting for that! Hopefully that will have changed now.

I ask that you keep him in prayer. For comfort, minimal pain, no infection and a speedy recovery. Thank you all so much and God bless!

I'm so glad he came through well.

I was concerned for you when I read news about Vietnam about RR. How does that affect you all?

Praying!

Thanks for your prayers. We already had Anah's official referral before this went into affect, so I am grandfathered in, Praise God! I am still just waiting on VN immigration to issue me a VISA so I can travel, hopefully within a couple weeks?

Glad to hear that. :)
