Angel Tree Project

Today starts our Reece's Rainbow Angel Tree Project. It runs from Nov. 1 - Dec. 31. The Angel Tree Project is Reece's Rainbow's way of raising much needed funds to help infants/children with Down Syndrome find their forever families. There are many people who feel they are unable to adopt due to the cost. Personally, Bob and I would be happy to adopt again if we could get some help in the area of financing the adoption. Most adoptions cost approx. $25,000 for all fees, travel etc. Some are quite a bit more and some are a bit less. But as you can imagine, it is a huge burden on a family to raise that kind of money, not just financially, but emotionally and often physically. Many of the families that are willing to adopt children with special needs already have one or more children with special needs. This limits their available cash and ability to work/fund raise to get the cash needed for the adoption.

Reece's Rainbow tries to aid with the financial part. RR is a 501(c)3 tax exempt status company approved as a public charity through the IRS. A receipt can be given for all donations.

For a donation of $35 to any of the children listed (you pick the child) you will get a Christmas Ornament with that child's picture on it. It will be a reminder, year after year, of the love you shared with an orphan, in the hopes of bringing them to their forever family. You can also donate as a gift for that hard to buy for family member or friend. They will receive the ornament (for donations over $35) and a gift card stating it was from you. Won't you please go look at these beautiful children? And if you can't donate at this time, at least pray for them, for their forever families and for the necessary finances to bring them home to the families that love them? Please click on the red Christmas tree banner that says Reece's Rainbow, it's located under Anah's banner. Thank you and God bless.
