I know I've mentioned this before, but Jonathan is a terrible head hitter. He hits his head so hard with his fists, any toy or if all else fails he bangs his head on the floor! He does it mostly when he's tired or frustrated or has an ear infection, but unfortunately those things are A LOT!
He's developing and progressing so well in every area and it has decreased somewhat, but I would like it to stop completely. He hits his head HARD, it hurts me when he does it and his head is leaning against me! I know a lot of it is sensory issues and it's his way of processing things, but it can't be good for him.
Any advice would be great. I tell him "no" and take his hands away and try to give him something else to do but if anyone else has something that worked for them, I'd love to hear about it.
He is pointing to his nose now when you ask him where his nose is, sometimes he'll point to his mouth, head or tummy if you ask. I do believe he is trying to start his "terrible twos", which is a good thing in one way, but not in the other. I always felt the threes are worse, so it should be interesting with a strong willed little guy!

Hello friend! I don't have any great advice for your little guy, but thought I'd take a moment to comment you anyway... then you can come visit me at my blog:)
It was so nice chatting with you today((hugs))
The usual recommendation is to ignore the head banging since any attention can reinforce it... that said, Id take the little guy to a safe place (like carpeted) first.
